Dora's right, Gymnastics ARE Fantastic!

Ali now has gymnastics to look forward to every Thursday! This week was the first session and I think SHE was FANTASTIC! It seemed we've been teaching her gymnastics all along, from sommersaults to rolling to hanging out with good ole dad on the bars!

On our way! Well, after Ali gets into her car seat and is all safe and buckled in. Honest, she doesn't drive yet.

Showing off her Gymnast Star shirt!

At the Jumphouse! Almost there!

Not sure what's going on yet, but sitting patiently and waiting with her nametag on. I may have to bring a marker and add the extra "s" next week. The teacher, Lori showed up and brought them to an area with circles on the floor to stand on and do stretches. Ali didn't like this part, I think she was a bit confused and feeling lost.. but then....

First it's the bars. Awesome!

There were a few stations and Ali caught on quick. First, roll down a  sloped mat, then hang on the bars, curl feet up, put them out then spread them. Next Ali got to swing three times before moving onto a bar on the floor where she did push ups. The last was hanging from another bar and putting her feet up.. she needed a little help with that one.

Then the balance bar, almost just like walking on curbs! Fun! The teacher telling Ali to slow down!
then there was a tumble, roll mat routine. The smiles by now are huge from both of us! What a good idea this was!

And the easy part, a trampoline! The extra part was walking to the middle, jumping and then stopping before walking off.

Ali wasn't huge into the foam pit, she stayed on the mat and didn't venture in too far.

But she found another use for the foam blocks.....a TOWER!

Gymnastics is almost over and we spend the last 10 minutes just playing with the foam blocks

with the other little girl, 14 month old Dakota.
